We were lucky - Hurricane Michael turned right and made landfall at Mexico Beach. That’s about 40 miles east of Panama City Beach. Our beaches will have storm surge but not nearly as bad as it could’ve been. We had some winds gusting and there’s probably some trees down but we won’t be able to go south of 98 probably until tomorrow to get a visual. (Mandatory evacuations yesterday at noon)

We've seen that video. MB was absolutely devastated. The Mayor said something about 200 people stayed and rode out the storm. Hope their all OK.

Getting to see pictures from the NOAA Satellite. Course, all pix are overhead shots, and can only see the roofs. The house we owned (400 yards from the Beach) sustained minimal roof damage. The house we rented when we first got there (3 story A-Frame) sustained no roof damage and it's only l50 yards from the beach.
