I like words by heart.

He got a raw deal because of one song. He wasn't a favorite of mine, but I liked him (his music).

I remember him and Travis Tritt having their big "verbal" fight and Travis was quoted telling Billy Ray to kiss his achy breaky ass. Lulz. Didn't hear too much of BRC after all of that.

It's Memorial Day. This morning, I visited the graves of two who gave their lives in Vietnam. John Prine's song came to mind when I logged in to this thread.
