I didn't know a golden retriever was a good kid dog, but always heard a boxer was. I'll check them out.

I've heard/read that both are good with kids. However, as much as Joe and fam are around the water, I would think the Golden would be the best choice.

Just my $ (inflation:)) worth.

I could be wrong.

Now, if you ever need a manhunting ass-eating dog...
