84 Chevrolet cavalier. My dad bought it at the flea market for a couple hundred dollars!

Cavaliers were reliable cars. One tolerated my MIL til see tried to drive it on it's roof.

What was the very fist car you owned/drove?

Owned: a 62 4 door Chevy Nova. The original Hoopty.

Drove: 51 Willys Jeep. Absolute blast to drive.

First new car: 84 Mercury Lynx.

Mine was a black 83 S-10 Blazer....Still miss that ride...:loco:

If you want to call it skill, fine by me. My dad backing the tractor and trailer about 20 ft from the barn door opening and telling me I couldn't quit until the wagon was in the barn, was what I called hell.

Wouldn't trade the experience for anything now tho. It got me a very good paying job with a farmer down the road. I was "rich" at age 15.

Don't think I could pull it off today. Not without 10-15 tries, at least.
