Ya know...home renovations suck. Replace some water damaged subfloor and a doorframe this weekend. My knees and back are killing me from being under the house most of the day Sunday. :no:

I have to do the same thing. Our back door frame was letting water in and caused some rot. Replacing the door, and gonna paint the ehole inside of the house. I've got everything in the garage ready. We're supposed to be off the week of thanksgiving, so i'll do the floor and door then. We'll start painting tomorrow probably.

Painting sux. Last time I did it, I plasticated off two rooms after moving everything out. Taped it all off and shot it with a power sprayer.

Think I lost 10 pounds those couple days in that tyvek suit and respirator. Guess I could stand to paint a couple houses, at that rate. Lol

I actually enjoy, and am pretty good at painting. I've done several houses, done a completed basement back in the spring. Houses were several years ago, all just for extra $. I've done several rooms for friends. I just won't get paid for this gig!

I've found that taking a beer break every three or four hours helps! :toast:

My dad referred to me as a hippie in the 70's due to my long hair. Mine was always clean, though, and I was nicely dressed most of the time.
