alright VT, if you're going to visit there during the summer then about the only thing you can do in Martin is: go cow tipping, eat mexican food, or go to a movie. Martin is the definition of a college town...Martin is NOTHING without the university. The most fun I had was staying on campus and finding something to do. Campus Recreation at UTM is one of the tops in the state, IMO. There's always some happenings on campus to get you out of the room, most of those things free. There are free movies in the UC auditorium on Sunday nights. If you're the religious type, there is a center for every denomination/faith. Intramurals are the bees knees there. If I was bored I'd either go out and find someone to throw a football/baseball with, hang out and play pool/ping pong in one of the dorms, or play some sand volleyball. I can't think of a single day in Martin that I was bored. Of course, I never studied til about 2 hours before a test.

Sounds great. Thanks for answering :hi:

It's not likely for a new student, but it's possible. Private rooms cost a bit more. There's always an apartment on campus, there are some affordable ones around.

Gotcha. I'm interested in wildlife biology, you know anything about their programs?

Organismal Biology. Took a lot of wildlife bio classes and cell/molecular bio classes

Wow, we are similar lol. I'm not too big on the cellular biology though (my 7th and 8th grade years, that is all we covered in science, because some of the other kids couldn't "get it" SMH). I'm not positive what exactly I want to be but, I know it will have something to do with wildlife bio. Thinking about taking some Japanese classes too on the side, I noticed Martin has that as well. I'm really looking forward to checking it out before long.
