i've been looking at klipsch a lot, mainly because they are never a bad buy. also looking at aperion....but i'm probably just going to get something small. I have some pretty stellar floor speakers and i don't need booming bass.

although it is a lot of fun to rattle the house.

i just bought a new receiver and some floor standing speakers. i replaced my 12 yr old onkyo and 30 yr old klipsch floor speakers. haven't had a sub or really needed one, but it will definitely complete my system.

there are several high end audio speakers out there....but if we are talking about home audio without getting into the 20k+ then I would probably buy paradigm. But if we were to get crazy, one could spend upwards of 100k and set up a system that would cure HAIDS

hello dbags, sure its 1:15 in the morning and i'm suppose to work tomorrow, but tonights storms have me up. had a friend of mine down here call me a few minutes ago and ask what was going on. he has several trees down and said that the power was out. to be honest i thought it was another tornado. hail was bad, wind was awful, something ripped off my roof, probably shingles. i have water soaked ceilings in 4 rooms. i've been back a wk and a half and since saturday and i was shocked while on my laptop during a storm on saturday and then this crap tonight
