Andrew Gribble of govolsxtra.com is convinced that the longer we take to hire the last two positions; the better the chance that we make big hires.

What do you all think? Fact or Crap?

I would like to see a Great TE coach with ST skillz, and a Great DB coach with ST skillz fill those positions, and be Co ST cord.
Just my thoughts. I know not having a dedicated ST coach is a kick in the yarbles, but having 2 would be ok I think.
As soon as Heart and Dools check with me I'll tell them .. lolz.
Like my opinion matters :D
Any thoughts on that coaching setup?

I'm done guessing on hires after the DC fiasco. CDD showed us that he keeps everything he does on the down low and everything that comes from the local media or fans is pure speculation.

And yet it seems so few have truly learned this lesson. Unless you heard it from an official press release, it is just somebody's guess, and believe it or not, that person probably doesn't have any information you don't.

I would venture to say that Dooley has reached an agreement with the two coaches and is waiting for National Signing Day to pass before he brings them to UT, as a courtesy to the teams they are with now.

remember if/when we get great assistant coaches, they will not be here long because they will be in high demand for other positions.

If we're talking about the last 2 positions, the correct answers are lotus and reverse cowgirl. Seriously, this isn't even debatable. :)

Alvin Reynolds fired today by Atlanta Falcons. Coached in the secondary. Previous ties to Sunseri from days with Carolina Panthers. May be an option.

You got that right. I just think Sal is gonna have a say so in the next two coaches since they are on the D side.
