Both have lost their mind. I have followed the Bengals since I was a little kid. Paul Brown was good in the 80's (2 Super Bowls, 2 losses but at least they got there). But when he kicked the bucket and his idiot son took over, the wheels just fell off. There is no hope for when little Mikey keels over that his daughter is any better.

It was actually public last week (or earlier this week - it all runs together)....the threats toward UT at the end are ridiculous.

Yeah...it may have not had its own thread, but it was here IIRC. Maybe Ras posted it? Can't remember...I think that it may have been in the thread about Davis going after Lane. It's possible that is was referenced in the link to the story posted in that thread, and I followed it from there...but I thought that it had been posted.

I just read it. I mean this is America, you do have freedom of speech. This just makes me hate the Raiders even more than I did before the Kiffin saga. Quit whining, stop displacing the blame of your sh**hole program, and locate the real problem plaguing the organization. If they look closely (or just open their eyes) they will realize the real problem lies at the top in Al Davis. I can understand if they dont like Kiffin, but quit dragging this out in the public. You are only embarassing yourself and making yourself seem like a giant whining baby. Go vols

Not to worry, new Chiefs GM Scott Pioli and Coach Todd Haley are going to pound the Raiders into oblivion for years to come....and will also turn the Denver Donkeys into glue!

I like the Raiders, but they've been extremely dysfunctional (they're the Raiders... being moderately dysfunctional is part of their ethos) since Chucky left.


I found it funny that they're making it look like Kiffin wrecked their franchise... as if Art Shell had nothing to do with it (just HFCs being discussed here).

I was surprised to see that the letter was so poorly written. I fully expected to see Davis' name at the bottom rather than a (supposed) professional attorney's. I wonder if Davis dictated it or had final say on the wording.

Ok, I wasn't TOO surprised by the letter. But I was surprised it was released to the public looking like that.

What I cannot understand is why the letter attempts to qualify it's remarks with the franchise's history of winning. What on earth does that have to do with anything? If Lane Kiffin did anything wrong, it would be just as wrong if he had been with Detroit or New Orleans.
