First NBA game I've watched in years. Reaves doesn't look like typical 2 (SG). He had a good game tonight but doesn't appear to be a real shooting threat. I guess I don't know the difference in a 2 or a 3 (SF) in a league where 5's shoot a lot of 3's...I'm old. 😂

I think it’s common to just call them “wings” if they’re doing that perimeter-oriented but largely positionless thing

Which is why I mentioned him possibly replacing Reaves in the starting lineup at some point down the road...

DK going to have to earn the media respect with Lebron and his son getting the majority of it. But time will take of that as DK is a much better player than Lebron's son.

He already has earned the respect of the media. Plus he has the respect of the Lakers' two best players

Barkley was raving about him. He’s being talked up as a dark horse ROTY candidate. Snoop has dubbed him “West Side Knecht”

The bronny stuff will quiet down once he drops to the g league. Nobody has ever thought bronny was the better player. I don’t know why people get so bent out of shape over a human interest story. It takes nothing away from DK.

Yeah Barkley knows talent when he sees it as do other players. I was speaking more about the LA and ESPN type media.

Yeah. They’ll talk about the father/son thing because it’s pretty rare and the Griffy’s were in the crowd and everything. Honestly, it’s pretty cool even if it was a little contrived to get him there. But now that it’s done and the games have started, you’ll see a lot more actual basketball talk (and maybe an occasional Bronny update if he has a good game in the g league).
