I’ll give the defense a looking better grade, but let’s not forget get it was an injured back up QB to end the game for Pitt.

To be fair, Slovis started out hot but was ineffective as well after the first drives.

I wasn’t the happiest with the way we played, but I gotta say…if it was Butch or Pruitt coaching, the team doesn’t even come out of the tunnel in the second half.

I know, I know it was ugly but it was a W. Turnovers and blocked punt kept us from putting it away. But I think this is the kind if win we needed. I think its safe to say most of us expect the offense to win by lighting up the scoreboard. That didnt happen, but the defense pulled us through. I think that will be a huge confidence builder going forward. Before today Im not sure any of us thought we could win one this way.
