The Key to a Bowl win

I think we will get a good look at what next year will look like for better or worse. Milton can take a great step forward or we can go ahead and look for someone else in the portal in case he’s not the guy. He needs to cement himself as the guy in this bowl game or we need to go ahead and get a legit contingency.

The key to win our bowl is for Milton to stay in Knoxville and throw the ball from there .he might actually hit our WR on what ever bowl field they are one .plus can get sacked
The key to helping Milton is for the secondary to make plays and running the ball effectively.

You say this to say what?
I think he was saying Milton threw a bomb on the 3rd play of the Vandy game that put TN on the goal line leading to a score4 plays into the game. Or maybe he forgot? Some people just need to nit pick for whatever reasons. If Milton had hit 30 of 31 passes, there would be 10 threads on that 1 incompletion

Let's be honest .take the orange shade glasses off. Next year probably won't be as good as this year .

I'd love to see Milton take a great step forward. So far he hasn't been able to be very accurate (at least not consistently) when playing any meaningful minutes. Maybe coaches should set up several short throws, slants, and screens and let him run some draws up the middle to get him comfortable... there's no question he's an exceptional athlete and I'd really like to see him have a breakout game and lead our Vols to a bowl win.

Go VOLS!

Milton is a phenomenal teammate as well. I would like nothing more for him to be successful and then get drafted. That said I’ve never seen him put it together in big time minutes in game. He’s had plenty of opportunities at Tennessee and Michigan. If he can’t do it at this point we need a contingency who isn’t a true freshman depending on how they feel about Jackson.

It's funny

What makes something funny or not funny (or somewhere in between) can be complicated. This had a chance to be funny as a well-timed post in the right thread. It's not quite clever enough to stand on its own as a thread starter. Too much setup and not a big enough payoff, IMO.

Just have the D show up at all.

Chuck it deep……don’t matter if it’s completed or not. Run the bal, run the ball, and let Milton run the ball. Then chuck it deep some more.

Things will open up.

I do believe that was his 1 accurate ball for 15+ yards. Stop acting like he’s not wildly inaccurate. He is.

True, but you know the saying "Less is more"?
