The Kash Patel Is Competent Thread

Two things can be true

- Kash is kind of an idiot and in over his head in his position
- It's not that big a deal and actually funny that he went to celebrate with the hockey team and leftists are overreacting to that and the call from Trump
My goodness man, it's not "leftist" to have the opinion that it was inappropriate AF for him to be celebrating like that with them. He obviously used his position by inserting himself into that situation. Pathetically embarrassing to him and our country, but that's getting to be a norm for this administration

It's really not that big of a deal, I would say the same thing if Kamala or Biden or Obama had went and done a similar thing.

It's ok to have joy and happiness related with US success

It’s a pretty big nothing burger, unless you’re an Epstein victim who still hasn’t seen any arrests, or Nancy Guthrie’s family… then it’s a bad look. A matter of perspective, perhaps?

What do you expect KP to be doing in the Guthrie case? He's an administrator, not an investigator. The FBI doesn't bring charges so the lack of arrests in the JE case is on the AG and her people.

He's a pedo protector which all points to Israel.

They're all sellouts. He and the rest of Trump's crew make Benedict Arnold look like a nothing burger. Complete traitors.

I agree that the Guthrie complaint is stupid.

But Patel (as is customary with this administration) shows very little regard for class and decorum. It's hard to take a President and his team seriously when they alternate between frat party behavior and publishing racial tropes.

I love hearing MAGA gripe about athletes at the Olympics shouldn't be defending the constitution, they should be quiet and then the hockey team ****ing parties with the dude protecting the people in the Epstein files.

There is no form of hypocrisy that is too much for MAGA.

It's a bad look for Team USA moreso than Patel.

These guys were American heroes for about 15 minutes, and then I see footage of them partying with a pedo protector, and then yucking it up with another one, laughing at digs at the Women's hockey team with Trump. They can all **** off.

Still glad they won, though.

MAGA celebrated Alysa Lou’s gold even though she has very liberal views. The Olympics isn’t the forum to trash the USA.

Every competent person in the FBI probably hates working for Patel so much, and Ricky would be that one LEO in the department saying, That guy doesn't know anything, so I can finally get ahead by putting my nose....

Where’s DOGE when we need it? I thought this was the sort of government waste that they said they would look into and eliminate. You’ll never make me believe that Patel was over there on “official” business. He flew over there on the taxpayer dime to watch some hockey and should have to pay back the cost of the trip.

Oh wait. I forgot that DOGE was just another of Trump’s bright shiny objects that came and went. Never mind. Let the grifts continue.

No one said otherwise. Pointing out that Kash is a clown doesn't mean people are lacking joy about the hockey team's gold medal

It took a bunch of my joy. Again, they're partying with a pedo protector. This isn't just some Republican or Democrat. This isn't Rubio. This is one of the people in charge of getting justice for the victims in the Epstein files, and there is no evidence that he's trying at all.

The 2028 summer Olympics are in LA. It seems like the head of the FBI might have good reasons to attend Italy 2026. Remember what hapoened in Munich in 1972?

I would never work for the FBI, even though I considered it before 2001....however, would Patel know about the "4,400 illegal arrests by ICE" or are you still ignoring that.

Just because they are Olympic athletes does not give them any more weight with their political opinions than if I asked for the opinions of the first three people I see at Wal-mart. I put as much stock in their political views as I do in their ranking of movies.

It works both ways, but I'd prefer it if Olympic team members kept their politics to themselves, just to avoid having whichever side is offended get all in a tizzy about it.

The obvious issue is MSM trying to ask them questions to bash Trump/USA....It's not the "politics" part it's thinking it's "problematic" to celebrate success with government officials or to be happy and celebrate with the President, regardless of who he is

They should be using their platform. Like it or not, the Olympics are political, and I'm not just talking the athletes. They have been political my whole life. The US led a freaking boycott. You could say politicizing the olympics is our identity

Positioning yourself with problematic politicians is an interesting way to use that platform.
