Is it me or does that have the large numbers like we used to have in the 90's and early 2000's. I hope so, not a fan of the smaller number that get distorted with the tech fit jerseys.

No...just a little tired of our "tradition"...


It's boring. It's 2012, not 1960. Give me an orange helmet...a black outline on a jersey...anything.

The numbers looked bigger to me. But I think it's because the photo is making objects look bigger than they appear.

They do look a little bigger in the pic. Atleast to me. But when big Dan puts his jersey on the number will look teeny tiny

Probably right, also just realized that jersey will be stretched to be twice the size it is when it is put on, chances are the numbers won't stretch that much.

Not for every game, but I wouldn't mind black pants and a black helmets, orange socks and black cleats. Still have the orange power T on the helmet. Would be a nice change and not a big deal for an out of conference game at a neutral site. jmo, I know many here would hate the idea.

For those that asked, the numbers on the front and shoulders are just a tad larger, not something most people will notice.

There was a grey outline on the home jerseys for part of the '87 season.

No, it hasn't always been. In the early/mid 80's the numbers were just orange. In the early '90's they had orange numbers, white space, then a thin orange outline. The week of the South Carolina game in 1994 is when the black outline appeared.

You could have wanted the helmets to be pink and I would have agreed. We're not trying to change everything for good, just once every now and then! Kudos on your open-mindedness.

I would not mind getting a hold of a #21 like that you think DD has one laying around anywhere.
