Wow. And the list they link to... WOW.
I wonder how
@PulaskiVolFan dismisses this?
I hope he improves but UT is in big trouble if he doesn't. If he doesn't then Pruitt's future may hinge on how he manages the QB position and how decisively he acts.
You stink at this, the article states every single thing I've said about JG. He doesn't turn the football over, BM does, he has potential to improve his 2nd season with Chaney, that's been said on here a million times and only the neverJGers argue the point. Both points the neverJG guys argue both presented in the article and their evaluation. Next up in the evaluation was that he got benched for bad play, something even I had no problem with and have stated a couple of times to you before, then the next little QUOTE:
"but was responsible for the go-ahead score in every game UT won down the stretch, finishing all but one of them"
Another point made in the article that most knowledgeable TN fans have pointed out for 3 months yet you and your little boys club of neverJGers have argued he really did nothing during the winning streak, another pure garbage false narrative you like to push.
Finally the article mentions him having the "clutch gene" and then the rankings of him being 6th in the conference, a list that has 1 guy who is not even playing and 2 more that look like they might start the season on the bench.
You can have all those guys from the SEC listed and he's still exactly where I've said he was all along, top half of the SEC with potential to be top 3-5. Once again, you suck at this calling someone out and "gotcha" mentality you seem to live your life by.
You preaching doom and gloom if JG plays is a joke and would get you punched in the face if you or your boy were to say it one day in the locker room after practice.
Pruitt has a 5* QB in house, and good odds at landing both Simpson and Manning, 2 young HS QB who will be highly rated as well as Salter and whoever else they might add. You believing Pruitt is struggling at the QB position is a joke and you only do it because your boy is on the outside looking in. Pruitt is currently in one of the most stable positions in the SEC. As long as Fulmer is AD unless something disastrous was to happen Pruitt will be here, I predict they'll both be here longer than you will.
Below is the last part of the article as you seem to have not read it.
"It’s worth noting that Guarantano has averaged over eight yards a completion and completed over 60 percent of his passes with 28 touchdowns to only 11 interceptions ever since Jeremy Pruitt took over, and this is also his first season since arriving on campus in 2016 playing for the same offensive coordinator. As a result, he has lots more potential this year under Jim Chaney.
Last year, Guarantano completed 59.1 percent of his passes for 2,158 yards, averaging nearly eight and a half yards a completion, with 16 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. He also was benched due to poor performances after UT’s 1-3 start but was responsible for the go-ahead score in every game UT won down the stretch, finishing all but one of them.
With more stability and that proven clutch gene, you have to assume Guarantano’s numbers will improve this year. However, Tennessee football replacing Jauan Jennings, Marquez Callaway and Dominick Wood-Anderson could make that difficult on him.
Guarantano was sixth among SEC quarterbacks, behind Jamie Newman of the Georgia Bulldogs, Kellen Mond of the Texas A&M Aggies, K.J. Costello of the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Mac Jones of the Alabama Crimson Tide and John Rhys Plumlee of the Ole Miss Rebels. With a couple of improvements, though, he could move up a lot higher."
Edit: I mistakenly thought I was replying to someone else but I consider you two to be the same type of folks so no big deal to me.
