I think I need you to lose exactly one more SEC game, please.

If I understand the system correctly and if Florida beats USC (two big ifs), Florida's only chance to win the SECE is for either UGA to lose to both Auburn and Kentucky (unlikely) or for UGA to lose one (reasonably likely) and for you to lose exactly one.

If you lose two of your three and UGA loses only one, that leaves Florida and UGA alone with three losses and UGA holds the tiebreaker. But, if you lose just one and they lose one, we are all at the top with three losses and one head-to-head victory and since only one loss of ours is within the division, then we get the nod.

Thus the irony is that if UGA loses to Auburn this weekend and you lose to Arky, I will be a huge UT fan when you play Vandy and Kentucky.

We did this whole three team tiebreak with UT-UGA-UF a few years ago too. Didn't expect to need it again so soon, but it is a possibility.

They would have to add a space for an extra digit on LSU's part of the scoreboard if you end up playing a one loss LSU in the SECCG. It would literally be a televised rape.

What UGA did to us in winning by 12 (compared to the 39 we planted on you) will look like the closest of contests after LSU smokes you by a similar margin as they try to impress their way into the national title game.

you seem to have forgotten that we beat the living hell out of UGA in between, so it would have stood to reason that UF would have beaten them to smithereens. Except, it didn't really work out that way. If the transitive property exists across teams and talent, then Meyer must be the reason UGA spanked that a$$.

To bad you wont get your chance....And I am definately not really that impressed with LSU they have NO QB....If we get to Atlanta I think we will have a chance to win...Furthermore, yes I do know that FL beat us by 39 but there is NO WAY Fl is 39 pts better than us....FL played the game of their lives that day and we laid a complete nasty rotten egg in the second half....Wish we could play that one again, because boy wonder down there has been expoused...

I'm 100% sure that we will come away with no more than a loss, which is the best UF could muster.

I do...KY says they are beatable...AL gave them fits...AU had them to...They are just another team...Not the friggin Patriots...NO QB!!

Didn't help us much in 2001. And we'd even already beaten LSU earlier in the year.

I would not be that optimistic against LSU, no. But there's a reason why they play the games. There have already been four or five upsets this year more stunning than us beating LSU would be.

The fact is the once feared Gator team is anything but scary. Without Tebow you guys would be Vandy.
