That probably depends a lot on which witnesses. For example, I want to hear from the whistle blower ... under oath. The house wasn't much interested in him or her.

The House conducted the oversight the same as they have conducted oversight forever. There weren't any different rules than any other Congress and they didn't "make them up". Again you come up short defending the GOP Senate and the Trump Administration. Pointing fingers and making false claims about process is all you and the GOP have.

Where in this country (besides the House) are prosecutors, who swore an Oath to uphold the Constitution, allowed to disregard the criteria set forth in that Constitution (Law of the Land) which clearly details the crimes required for impeachment (indictment) and create new, fabricated “crimes” to fit their political agenda?

On your quoted question. No idea what poll you are referencing. As someone who will give bs answers just for kicks, I put zero faith in the political biases and personal agendas associated with polls. And yes, my bs answers to polls are a personal agenda designed to amuse myself.
