The Democrats were in a position to keep that from happening, and so they did.

Is this executive privilege we are talking about, or entitlement? The White House's refusal to comply with the essential function of oversight will set a bad precedent for future administrations to follow... and could come back to bite Republicans one day. Eventually, there will be a President from the Democratic Party again, with a Republican-controlled House of Representatives. Good luck ever getting a subpoena complied with when that day comes.

Well, how do you explain that October 3rd e-mail from Jay Sekulow to John Dowd, Mr. President? Sekulow told Dowd that he had discussed Dowd serving as defense counsel for Lev Parnas with you, and you had approved of it. Trump is a flat out liar, and he will continue with the lie, despite overwhelming evidence.

You can bet Roberts isn't on the Trump train. He's far too honorable of a conservative to approve of Trump's behavior. That being said, as an honorable conservative AND the sitting CJ, he won't let his personal feelings influence his decision making
