No mentioned of the senate here??
If you're going to participate in the discussion, a basic understanding of the subject matter is expected. Fifth grade civics would have prepared you for this thread.
The House impeaches, the Senate is not involved in the aspect of what is analogous to an indictment.
You are correct. Now the house is done and the adults are in charge. This will be over by the Superbowl.
By basic concepts of rule of law that is correct. If he's been impeached, then pretty much by definition during the "sentencing" there should be no further additions to charges or "facts". It's over.

If any Republican votes to remove their political careers are over.
I can't tell if you're telling or asking.
Are you suggesting that relevant facts or evidence can't be uncovered or used if uncovered prior to a trail?

Maybe. For now.
But even if so these guys are multi millionaires. They'd be fine. And if they voted to remove they could hold their head high and, correctly, boast that they voted their conscience. In short order, they'd earn a lot of respect, and not just from Democrats.
To turn on Trump when he fully deserves it and you can defend the vote is a sweet place to be if you care about history and legacy at all.

anything is possible but I always cringe when I see the "trial" analogy. this is not like a criminal or civil trial. it's an independent beast where the "jurors" who aren't really jurors can make up whatever rules they want and likewise the "indicters" can indict as frequently as they like (no double jeopardy issues).
so yes evidence can be introduced or denied at any time in the process; a process that is only defined by giving the people running the process the ability to define the process.
now I have a headache
What’s going to happen to Manchin and maybe Jones when they don’t vote to remove?Maybe. For now.

If someone is impeached, he's impeached. If not, it just illustrates again that politicians can't be trusted with words. An event happens, or it doesn't. If you want to say that the house proceedings were like a grand jury, and the senate is a trial, then he has yet to be impeached.
