Trump hates this because he knows that from now on, and forever, he will be known as an impeached President. He can't stand it.

It will take a month or two for this one to play out then we'll move on to the next. And there will be a next. Our righties here believe that impeachment will bolster Trump's chances in '20. I don't agree, I believe most voters are tired of this now and want it to end. There is no better example of an unsound leader than that mindless self debasing letter he put out for all to see yesterday. A ten year old would have handled it better. Trump won't be removed by impeachment but thankfully we're only a few days away from an election year.

Trump will likely pardon him next year. I expect he'll do it sooner rather than later but may wait until after the election. That is unless one of them dies before then. I have another year to see if I win my wager that Trump will have a stroke or heart attack before January 2021.
