Well at least you're honest about your hypocrisy. If there was one thing that Clinton definitely should have been held accountable for - it was this.

My guess is that you'd have a hard time holding trumps Cricket Wireless phone to the same standard of OpSec because you know.... it's trump.

But she wasn't. The precedence had been set.

And actually, i do think it is a big deal. But she took any kind of real penalty of the table. Take it away, and tell him don't do it again. Thanks Democrats.

No you don't, it's silly to suggest that because she wasn't held accountable - no one should be. If it was a big deal then, but not now - apparently it was never a big deal. Every whine any belly-ache ever uttered is diluted by the fact that the same standard is being applied now. The "precedence" excuse is nothing more than intellectual gymnastics to help you internally rationalize it.

Had Biden been investigated and found not guilty, it would have made absolutely no difference to Trump and his followers; just as Hillary having never been found guilty in any of the numerous investigations of her has made no difference in how she is viewed.

The assumption that it would benefit Trump says nothing about Biden but much about Trump and his minions.

I don't believe that you are truly this naive. Since when has Donald Trump shown an interest in rooting out corruption, even in his own administration? Trump allowed Scott Pruitt to stay on as EPA Administrator for several months after it had become apparent that Pruitt was self-dealing and wasting tax payer money on ridiculous things (such as "tactical pants"). Trump has also had other corrupt cabinet members such as Ryan Zinke and Tom Price. It's not corruption that Trump was interested in investigating, it was the Bidens - and only because Joe was running for President.

...and it hasn't already backfired. That is just empty talk.

It’s going to be interesting seeing all the sound bites change sides once the Senate trial begins. Kangaroo court, rushed proceedings, etc will all change parties. Which will just go to further prove this is all political.
