Extremely is my word not yours , there’s one issue . Our most powerful agencies in this country , in any country are the IC’s . They are always the most heavily funded , most secretive and for some reason almost always the least governed . I don’t get your rational of the most public , one of the most governed , with one of the most oversight positions being more of a threat . It’s actually irrational .

Who governs those least governed agencies? It seems as if that is where we most need trust.

That's right, what we have seen the last few years should scare the hell out of every single person but since all they want is Trump out they don't give a damn how. People should be asking for the FBI to be dismantled. This will come back and bite them one day when the FBI turns on one of them for political reasons.

What??? Hillary wasn't the best democratic candidate, I didn't support her in the primaries, and had she been elected I would have been calling for a democratic primary for 2020.

Now feel free to say the same about Trump.

So we need to trust congress, something we all know is broken , with the least amount of public confidence . Not the leaders , management and people of the IC to do what’s right and not become politicized? We talk about trump having no responsibility but we give the ICs a pass ? Lol

I think he was talking about needing to be able to trust the President. The guy who oversees those agencies.

???? How are we ever to know if the leaders, management and people of the IC are doing what's right without the people who are in the position to govern them. The trust has to lie in the POTUS and congress, unless you have some alternative.
Currently, we have the most untrustworthy POTUS in history.

You have a POTUS for 4-8 years , these IC people are lifers same problem with congress . You can’t blame everything on Trump , it just doesn’t work .

I see your point. I would be like the Never Trumper who gagged as they voted for Trump because they still viewed him as better than the alternative and then continued being a never Trumper working diligently to make sure we had a better choice in the next election.

Personally, and I know this will not go over very well, I would have a lot more confidence and trust in the FBI if they did have some type of "insurance policy" concerning Trump. Unfortunately, it seems as if they didn't.
