The media has been attacking Trump non-stop 24/7 for over 3 years.

The economy is much better off today than in 2016.

What strategy is it that you think a Democrat candidate can use to beat him?

You can only blame so much on the media. Trump creates much of his own bad press with immature, petty, egotistical, vindictive and arrogant conduct. Trump is a guy who drew a line on a weather forecast map in September with a sharpie, just because he couldn't admit to a simple mistake and he wanted to win an argument with the National Weather Service. He does things of that nature all the time.

The strategy is simple: Remind the voters of this type of behavior and make it the point of emphasis. This is not conduct that the average person is going to admire. Trump is so petty and small.

He gets honest coverage of the economy. The bigger problem is that his behavior overrides the positive feelings about the economy much of the time. Trump has himself to blame for that. He is always fighting someone. There is always some drama.

Presidents are going to be criticized. Instead of taking everything personally, he should have embraced the whole country and he would probably win 2000 by a landslide.
Instead, he strong arms people who question his lies, uses hate filled rhetoric, and spouts conspiracy theories which, to the rest of us, makes the Republican party who support his BS seem like they have have collectively lost all morals and part of their brain. Those not in denial, see that Trump's insecurities are playing right into Putin's hands.

It didn't have to be this way.

Wait what ? That’s a double edged sword that cuts both ways . As far as Rs losing their morals and part of their brain. Have you seen or heard the progressive liberals lately ? I agree it didn’t have to be this way but to say one is more responsible than the other is just being partisan .
