My daughter was just in NY. She said she was surprised at the number of armed guards around the Trump building.
She didn't spit or cross the street but she said she did gag a little.

You can do better than that. The building merely bears the name of a mortal being. So, yes. that is TDS at its finest. The flag is a symbol of a country. Not a good analogy.

I made no assessment on the rightness or wrongness of her choice. You inferred that, wrongly. I criticized the choice as petty and childish. Rational people do not cross the street to avoid a building. Or drive out of their way to avoid a street.
Maybe the rest of her life is a testament to reason, but the act in question is silly.

He isn't. No president is a symbol of this country. America even with all her faults is 1000x better than any politician sitting in the oval office. Others can ascribe symbolism onto the president, but I disagree with it.
