I walked around the property in Chicago. Even went inside. Doormen posted at key points forbade entry into certain areas which I assume was the residential side of the building. But it was a very nice place from what I could tell. Not nice enough to make me wanna move to Chicago and overpay for a cramped domicile in a high rise.

It's sort of like standing for the flag. The flag is just an inanimate piece of cloth. What's it going to do, congratulate you or give you a cup cake? It's all about symbolism and what the inanimate object represents.
To her and many, anything with Trump's name is now a symbol of the Trump catastrophe and all the negatives that entails.
She may be taking it to an extreme, but at least she didn't avoid walking down the street.
