Your assumption of his comment does not mean what you think. It was a joke, and if you notice most MSM did not bother to report the last part.

Rudy is always promising that he has something up his sleeve, and that Democrats had better watch out for some big reveal that he has in the works but just waiting for the right time for it. Well, Rudy is a lot of empty promises because that big reveal never happens. He blows smoke and Fox News inhales.

On the surface (which is only as far as a Trump supporter would look), this may just appear to be a case of Donald Trump sticking up for an unfairly treated war hero (and I'm not commenting on Gallagher's case), but when you dig just a little deeper, it's more complicated than that. One of Edward Gallagher's attorneys, Marc Mukasey, also represents Donald Trump and is a former legal partner of Rudy Giuliani. It should be easy to understand why the Secretary of the Navy is taking a stand on this. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, Trump is not use to people standing up to him like this. The Navy's position seems to be that a tweet is not an official order... and to this point, that is all that Trump has done.
