This was a sustained plot to trade government largesse for a sham investigation into a political opponent, all the while weakening US national security interests.

Agreed. But, I haven't seen any definitive evidence in this case to do anything about. A lot of conjecture. No hard evidence. And Sondland is all over the place, testifying for both sides simultaneously. There is probably hard evidence on the FISA deal. If anything is done there, it will be for punishment purposes.

He has said both ways. He starts down the Dem's road, then hangs a hard 90 onto GOP street. He's not credible. Score GOP. I don't care what people here think Trump did. No one is proving it. That's our legal system, and in the grand scheme of the TV sham thus far, it is not close to damaging or implicating Trump.

I agree. If any democrats, republicans, or independents can be shown to have been involved in similar behavior (the threshold is actually much lower) I’d be glad to have them out of government.

IMO, the willingness of politicians to resign when they get caught in some form of misconduct (Chris Collins and Katie Hill being recent examples) is something to be encouraged, not set aside.
