Unpopular or not this was a huge upset and surprised pundits from msnbc to fox entertainment. Trump carried KY by 30% in 2016 and has been stumping as much as he could of recent weeks. You are either intentionally lying or ignorant to think otherwise

You flat out claimed no one thought his challenger had a chance. You are way over playing this. No one with an ounce of common sense thought this was safe. Hell the guy was right at 50% in 2016. Furthermore, as pointed out by several others, Kentucky has a long history of Dem Govs. Just admit you didn’t realize how unpopular the guy was.

Oh, you know... in the highly unlikely event that a United States Senator might demand that the press expose the person's identity, while standing next to the President at a campaign rally, they might feel some threat of exposure with reprisal later on. It would never happen, I know. We are above that as a nation of responsible and mature human beings whose leadership always follows the law.
