The Impeachment Thread

I think the ratios are:
1 use of the term bombshell to every 342 Trump lies.
1 use of the term bombshell to every 179 inappropriate Trump tweets.
1 use of the term bombshell to every member of the Trump circle that was fired or smart enough to get the hell out.
1 use of the term bombshell to every 0.0005 miles of new wall being built.
I bet your loony media went 8 years without any “bombshells” The only bombshell over the past 3 years is the wack job enemy media has completely exposed themselves

That's a perfect answer.
I see you were unable/unwilling to address my questions.
Serious question. Why would you expect him to try to answer that loaded question, considering that you propose a relative scale of decency, and you define the scale? Your question is literally the equivalent of asking why the republicans can't run someone that you agree with more.

It will happen. There is no reason not to.
Be careful what you wish for. It is going to further widen the division in the country, and leave Trump vindicated by the Senate, and fire up the Trump base. There is no purpose in this dog and pony show other than to try to weaken Trump, and in the long run, it will backfire. It will also cost Dem seats in the House in districts won by Trump, but with a Dem representative. That is why I don't think Pelosi follows it through.

Then what are you waiting for?
Again, why is your side so impatient? It is a deliberate process by design. There will be public hearings, where both sides will get to call witnesses, just like Watergate and the Clinton impeachment. From the time that House Republicans started drawing up articles of impeachment against Bill Clinton in 1998 until he was formally impeached with a House vote in December of 1998... about 3 months had passed. This inquiry just started 6 weeks ago. Were you constantly asking, "What are you guys waiting for?" in 1998? I doubt it.

As long as Trump isn't able to expand his base? That is fine. So, what if they are fired up? They can each only vote once, and there aren't enough of them (about 44%) to win reelection by themselves. Trump has never even tried to expand his base.

Last night, Mark Levin read the Dem rules for this charade and then read the Republican rules with Clinton. He highlighted the differences between the fairness to the defendant in each. They may tell you that the rules are the same, but Levin read them word by word, and they are not.

Right. All those people that got a job, or an increase in their paycheck, or a good return on their 401K are going to vote against their financial interest.

Then you are kidding yourself. There are no political consequences right now, for impeaching Trump. The public is in favor of it. There were only two defections last week on the vote in favor of the inquiry. That served as a de facto preliminary vote on impeachment itself. A test run, if you will.
Manchin defected in the Senate..said he might even vote for him in 2020....how are your majority polls looking over there?

Deliberate? You just made up the rules on how to do it.

Biden is the front runner, and he will be the nominee of the Democratic Party. Biden also leads Trump in both Arizona and Nevada, as well as Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

No, that is consistent with how it has been done in the past. As I just explained, it took Republicans in the House 3 months to vote on the impeachment of Bill Clinton in 1998, starting from the time that the articles of impeachment were drawn.

Biden will not be the nominee. I have told you that for months. I also don't think the so called impeachment will ever happen. Nancy announce say that we know Trump is guilty, but that we don't have enough evidence to remove him from office.

I also said a few months ago that the Dem nominees were so weak that they may turn to somebody like John Kerry to bail them out. Now, of course, they are trial ballooning Hillary.

Biden will definitely be the nominee. He doesn't inspire the party on ideology or policy but he is the pragmatic choice and the best opposition to Trump. That is the most important factor - by far. And once again, you are kidding yourself on impeachment. There is no reason not to do it. Trump is unpopular, and the American people are in favor of it.

LOL, Biden does not where he is more than half the time!

That is ridiculous.

It is what has kept him afloat for three years. If it wasn't for all his other baggage, he would win 2020 by a Reagan-esque landslide.

Goes to show how terrible of a President and person he is that even with this economy he can barely muster 40% approval.
