The Iceman appreciation thread

SO where did he say "I can beat them with one hand behind my back" which is what you said

He said the outcome would have been different even if he'd played with one arm.

again, is reading comprehension too hard for people?

Clausen's actual statement was that the 6 point loss (with a WR playing QB for UT) would have been a win even with him playing with an injured arm, (which considering his play with a broken collarbone earlier is probably an accurate statement). He NEVER said anything about "beating UGA with his hand tied behind his back" which is a misquote to what was actually said (by a UGA reporter) and used so idiots would fall for it for clicks.

Peyton was 3-1 vs Brady in AFC title games

11-6 is all time stat vs each other.

Peyton was a great QB. He did seem to get tense at times though.

Your stat is correct though.

But the colts should have won more than 1 superbowl.

Since you have a weird sticking point about what I said. I made it clear that I was paraphrasing by saying “something to the effect of.” The whole point was that he made a stupid comment about he could beat Georgia with arm and then got beat 41-14 the next year when he was completely healthy. Of course I’m sure if Peyton said that about Florida you’d have a huge problem with that.

he was correct about what he said however, it wasn't a "boast" it was correctly saying that he playing even injured gave UT the best chance to win, and it's true.

I found more details on what Casey said. I feel like this is an arrogant quote but I guess it could be taken other ways. At the time, I remember the fanbase being disgusted by it when UGA embarrassed us at Neyland.
