Look, I want this to end as much as any of us. The garbage that I've been reading about TN is neither fair nor accurate and the only way to change the narrative is to hire someone who is ready to get to work on leading the team.
However, all of this "hire Kiffin" talk is ridiculous. The only Kiffin worth chasing was Layla (sorry Monte). If Kiffin were to abandon another team for a bigger splash after only one year, what does that say about him? What would it say about UT?
The guy's tenure here was marred with controversy and impropriety and it is a sign of desperation to think that he should return, forgiven, to a program that he had a hand in throwing into decline.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but Kiffin has a stink of immature entitlement on him that follows him wherever he goes. Were here to opportunistically bail on a contract AGAIN after only a year then it is evident that he has not grown up at all.
Let's hire an adult this time who understands that this job still means something to a great deal of us and will respect what took a long time to build.
