My guess, and it is just a guess since I have no stats or sources, is he felt he wasn't being properly used in Jones' system.

Hindsight man. What could have been. Oh well lessons learned.

I think we should become the founders of a new VN holiday...sort of like Festivus, but instead of having feats of strength, we can have the gnashing of teeth. I'd have to insist on keeping the airing of grievances though. I do some of my best work when others are airing their supposed grievances.

Butch benched him for being stupid, he kept acting stupid so his stupid butt didn't make the trip to College station...the Alvin and Jelly show made him look stupider...Jalen Hurd's ego was by then too bruised for recovery, so he quit. Bye bye.

Now honestly. Yes, yes, the subject's been worn out to the bone, but this ol' Vol still thinks JH was a rotten apple (along with P-Willy) that would've made for a better season by splitting sooner. Bad chemistry is what it is so, here it comes: Next man up. AMIRIGHT?:yes:

If the bowl game doesn't go well there's a chance at least one more might leave. And I don't mean just winning the game but the way certain players are utilized.

Over the years we've had a few seasons with bad locker room chemistry.

Any real sports psychologists out there who have solid answers besides ... "Butch gets paid the big bucks to figure that out"?
