The FBI had the diary. They verified it was Ashley Biden’s. Hence the charges against the dubious sh!tbag duo.

Why did the Biden DOJ & FBI let those 2 scumbags walk on a forgery charge?

Blah, blah blah. The same lame explanation was given to Hunter's laptop after it was proven authentic. At first it was Russian disinformation then the left rallied around it being altered and yet there is no proof any of the laptop or diary was altered. In fact most of the emails on Hunter's laptop are easily verified through other people on the email. You just jump on the "diary is altered" train because it is the only explanation that fits your narrative. Creepy Joe got his nickname for years of inappropriate behavior towards women and sniffing underage girls hair yet the left and MSM continually jump to his defense instead of admitting he is a creep. Joe taking "inappropriate showers" with his underage daughter would be par for the course considering what we know about his history with women and children.

There was never any question over the diary being hers ... those passages in question have never been proven to be authentic ... and that couple is now in jail. That certainly does speak to their credibility here.

She acknowledged it was hers. That's not the question. The question is who wrote those salacious passages. That couple was obviously out to make a buck. They needed it to say something juicy... and so it did.

It wouldn't change anything if she did. People such as yourself would just call her a liar and believe what they want to believe.

Like I said, the people who found the diary are now convicted felons who are in prison. Project Veritas never had any credibility to begin with. That speaks for itself.

Really, you know me that well? So without her denying the claim we can assume her dad molested her. If she didn’t write those things it would be easy to verify. But that’s if she didn’t write those things.

Yes. They authenticated it was hers. They did not authenticate the contents.

If the passages were forged - were the duo trafficking forgeries? Why did the FBI let them skate on it?

I won’t pretend to know. But I was under the impression trafficking forged documents was a no-no? Like a big one. Is that a Felony?

Why would they let them walk on that?

Forging an obligation or security, like a check, deed, or a contract.

Forging a diary? Doesn’t fit under 18 USC 471.
That doesn’t mean there isn’t another federal forgery statute, but I can’t find it.

I guess they could have charged them with some sort of theft by fraud with Project Veritas as the victim, but there are at least a dozen other reasons why they might not bring that charge, so the logic doesn’t really track.

There’s inconclusive evidence that it’s real. I don’t know why that isn’t sufficient.

If I forge a signed baseball card in Memphis and go sell it in St Louis - is that a crime? Idk.

The FBI knows if any of those pages/entries are inconsistent (paper, ink, handwriting, etc) with the others.

Not if there is not a statute.
Not if the two that plead aren’t the ones who forged it, which may or may not be further supported by the existence of a cooperation agreement.
Not if the prosecutor didn’t believe he could prove the case.
Not if the prosecutor didn’t believe he needed the charge.
Not if declining the charge was part of their cooperation agreement.
Not if the “victim” wasn’t taken in by the forgery, of which there is evidence.

The FBI may know, but the fact that they haven’t done anything that clues us in to what they know probably doesn’t indicate what they know.
