The Hunter Biden Thread

FBI Director Wray is Acting Like Biden’s Consigliere

Another day, another high-handed, leftist-protecting, corruption-enabling action by FBI Director Christopher Wray.

On May 10, Wray refused to comply with a subpoena issued to him directly by the House Oversight Committee, requiring him to produce “an unclassified FC-1023 form that describes an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions. It has been alleged that the document includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose.”

Wray, though, has made a habit of being outrageously obfuscatory and uncooperative, not to mention notoriously unwilling to root out corruption in the vast bureau he oversees. More than a year ago, for example, it came to light that a 2019 internal audit found that FBI agents broke the rules at least 747 times in just 18 months, and in “high-profile” investigations alone. Wray has yet to make public amends, much less show any energy in fixing the problem.

Are they running cover commentary justifying it or actually reporting?
Bit of both -

“The move to sideline the whistleblower and his investigative team comes months after some agents complained that they were no longer being included in some discussions about the case, in part because of alleged leaks, people familiar with the matter told CNN.

The investigative work on the case is largely over and the case awaits a charging decision by US Attorney David Weiss, a Trump appointee who is overseeing the probe, CNN has previously reported.

The dispute is also not uncommon in fights between Congress and the executive branch over whistleblower complaints. There’s no indication the agent in question has lost their job at the IRS.”

They admit the whistleblower has at least been “sidelined” along with his team.
But also assert - “it’s not like he’s been fired!”

Hunter Biden cried poverty but still flew to his child-support hearing on a private jet

"The Biden family — including President Biden — have repeatedly refused to acknowledge the child’s existence.

Hunter Biden is currently on the hook to Roberts for $20,000 a month and has already paid out $750,000, his attorneys say.

Hunter Biden has argued that he needs to reduce his payments due to a “substantial material change” in his financial situation."

Real stand up guys these Bidens.

Scum. Pure scum. 81 million dumbasses of epic proportions gave us scum to lead the country. Imbeciles!

What about the dems politically motivated investigations into Trump? The false Russia collusion? The pee-pee tape?
You are missing the point ...

Whether or not investigations into Trump were politically motivated, I don't recall any Democrats going on MSNBC and bragging about the impact they were having on poll numbers. What James Comer did was clumsy at best. When you start talking about poll numbers ... you are saying the silent part out loud. It wasn't very savvy.

I agree. Stupid move.

Raskin Slams Comer For Tying Biden Inquiry to Trump Polling

Rep. James Comer went on Fox News and bragged that his investigation into Joe Biden was helping Donald Trump's poll numbers. That's not a smart thing to do, if he wants people to believe that his investigation isn't completely politically motivated.
It’s a great plan. How about the Dems step forward and endorse more in regards to the Hunter laptop, just to believe it isn’t politically motivated. Remember nobody is above the law and the lefts silences only says that’s a lie.

Capitol Censors Reject Hunter Biden Movie Screening

The producers of a docudrama about the Hunter Biden scandals claim that their film has been banned in the Capitol for political reasons.

Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney, the producers of My Son Hunter, told Secrets that Rep. Lauren Boebert’s (R-CO) request that their film be shown in the Capitol Visitor Center was rejected by the Architect of the Capitol’s office to block embarrassing the White House.

“The Hunter Biden story is one of the most censored and suppressed stories of the past decade, and it seems the pattern is continuing despite constant emerging evidence showing that the movie My Son Hunter is much more a documentary than it is a drama. People need to see this movie because they deserve the truth after it was withheld for so long,” said McElhinney.

These are not all mutually exclusive events we are seeing. This is the most corrupt administration in my lifetime.

IRS whistleblower speaks: DOJ "slow-walked" tax probe said to involve Hunter Biden

A whistleblower from inside the Internal Revenue Service has spoken publicly for the first time about a highly sensitive political probe he has supervised, which CBS News has determined is the ongoing probe into the finances of President Biden's son Hunter Biden.

He said he became so concerned about prosecutors' handling of "a high profile, controversial" investigation that he felt duty-bound to sound alarms.

"There were multiple steps that were slow-walked — were just completely not done — at the direction of the Department of Justice," said Gary Shapley, a 14-year veteran of the agency, who spoke exclusively to CBS News chief investigative correspondent Jim Axelrod on Tuesday. "When I took control of this particular investigation, I immediately saw deviations from the normal process. It was way outside the norm of what I've experienced in the past."
