Republican Rep. James Comer asks Janet Yellen AGAIN to hand over any Suspicious International Bank Transactions associated with Hunter Biden and accuses Treasury of running 'cover' for the first family

Republican Rep. James Comer, the ranking member on the House Oversight Committee, is again demanding that Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen turn over documents relating to suspicious international bank transactions linked to President Joe Biden's family.

In a letter sent to Yellen on Wednesday and obtained by DailyMail.com, Comer accused her department of running 'cover for the Biden family and its associates' by failing to fulfill Oversight Committee Republicans' request without bipartisan support.

The minority party lawmakers claim the Treasury denied their petition for suspicious financial activity linked to Hunter Biden and the president's brother James Biden 'unless Democrats join the request.'

The Treasury did not meet GOP lawmakers' June 8 deadline. According to Comer's letter, department officials refused to provide the notices in a June 13 phone call.

Treasury faces mounting scrutiny for giving Hunter Biden 'cover' with New Rule For Document Requests

The Treasury's new rule severely affects how Congress conducts its oversight on sensitive financial records

House Oversight Committee ranking member James Comer, R-Ky., torched the Biden Treasury Department for running "cover" for Hunter Biden with a new rule for financial document requests.

Comer laid into the Biden administration over the new rule requiring majority consent in Congress to obtain Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) protected under the Bank Secrecy Act, saying the department was doing so to protect Biden.

The Kentucky Republican requested the first son’s SARs on Wednesday, but his request was denied with the Treasury claiming the top House Oversight Republican would need Democrats, the majority party in the House, to sign onto his request.

"The Treasury Department’s sudden change of longstanding policy appears to be a broader pattern by the Biden Administration to run cover for Hunter Biden and possibly hide information about whether Joe Biden benefited financially from the Biden family’s business transactions," he continued. "The American people deserve answers and the Biden Administration must comply with congressional oversight."

Grassley and Johnson say DOJ Must Investigate Joe Biden’s Funding of Hunter’s Participation In Escort Ring Tied To Russia

Two top Republican senators have demanded the Justice Department and FBI launch a full investigation into Hunter Biden's laptop, including the revelation unearthed on Hunter Biden’s laptop by the Washington Examiner that President Joe Biden apparently unwittingly financed his son’s participation in an escort ring tied to Russia.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) sent the Thursday letter citing the Washington Examiner’s reporting to Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss, who is handling the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden.

The Republicans asked Garland and Wray to answer whether “the FBI investigating Hunter Biden for criminal violations relating to his reported use of escorts linked to human trafficking rings” and if “the FBI defensively briefed Hunter Biden for counterintelligence concerns raised by his close financial associations with individuals linked to the communist Chinese government and other foreign governments and his reported association with foreign escorts.”

Hunter Biden spent over $30,000 on escorts, many of whom were linked to ".ru" Russian email addresses and worked with an “exclusive model agency" called UberGFE, during a 3 1/2 month period between November 2018 and March 2019. He managed to do so thanks in part to Joe Biden committing to wiring him a total of $100,000 to help pay his bills from December 2018 through January 2019. Some of Hunter's payments may have generated suspicious activity reports with his banks.

I empathize with addiction..from past experiences most come from a history of being abused...and we all know about Joe and his daughter showering....his sniffing and grabbing kids

This seems more of case where the son had everything given to him. The only abuse to me was not allowing him to fail. Hunter is 52 years of age but gets treated as if he's a teenager. His record of failures, drug issues, military discharge for cocaine use, got into the military at age 43 with a waiver (who your dad is waiver) and his documented shady dealings with foreign countries that have come back to this administration. Instead of being a poster child for recovery he's a liability and security threat to the US.

...consider that both kids are set addicts among other types of addiction...studies show sex addiction come from hyoersexualization at an early age...which the daughter comfirms....it's crazy nonetheless

+ we know China is probably stockpiling some of our oil from our strategic reserves in case of a future war with us. You cannot get any stupider.

They are expecting by the fall for the strategic reserves to be at the lowest levels since the mid 80's.

Have we had any new passengers jump on the boat of this is how you sink your own country intentionally? Something does not pass the sniff test.
