You called Jacques Smith a female. Perhaps you'd like to let him know where you sit so you guys can compare?

I said the action of hitting someone in the back of the head was the actions of a female. I refrained from using profanity but it was clear what I meant.

Jacques later apologized and admitted what he did was very wrong. I think apologizing showed strength.

Nothing will change my mind that is weak and cowardly to sucker punch someone. It seems that Smith agrees.

Funny, all those who said in that thread that I had the story all wrong did not say a word after Smith admitted in court that he did what I said I was upset about him doing.

If Hopson can bring that consistently, we're going to be in the top 2 seeds.

Its a "knock on wood" kind of statement, but I wonder if this wasn't Hopson's coming out party. I know he probably still hasn't reached his potential, but just maybe he is ready to be a consistent leader now.

Beating the hell out of someone because he's dancing with a girl sure is wrong. So is calling someone a girl that would stomp a mudhole in your ass.

Mike Tyson would beat me up. He is also a mental midget with serious issues and a rapist. I do not think that is wrong to say.

J Smith did something stupid and cowardly. He has admitted that. He is bigger and stronger than me. Does not mean I cannot call a spade a spade.

Even if you were right, I could instead ridicule you for calling him a piece of **** and then crying about Dooley's "salty" language.

Did I use that language? Would be surprising. I have cursed before.

I also think that screaming streams of profanity at work is a bit different from typing euphemisms on a message board, but to each his own.

The single most offensive thing to me is someone using the name of the one who saved me in a pejorative manner.

By the way, J Smith had problems a bit in terms of temper in high school. I really hope this incident, while serious, was enough of a consequence to help him work on his anger issues and how to respond appropriately. A man that large with poor impulse control can get in a lot more trouble than Jacques has been in thus far.

Ray Lewis is the only millionaire I am aware of who stabbed someone to death and got away with it, OJ had to pay a civil penalty that ruined him financially.

That vacation wasn't long enough.

I find this funny since Ray Lewis preaches in the name of Jesus.

I believe the Kansas game was the biggest regular season we've had especially under the circumstances of that game....

Bollocks, im not one to take up for thuggary, but think it was pretty well proven he was just trying to cover for his boys and the DA balled up and threw him in with the murder charged to get him to turn.

Irrelevant. The police report that misidentifies the victim and the location of the incident proved Jacques struck a defenseless man in the back and charges being filed against Ray Lewis proved he's a murderer.

The refs backed off a little in the last 5 minutes or so but I agree... that can ruin the game... don't make it the NBA

1. Its good to hear Tenn and Championship in the same sentence. Period.
2. Scotty Hopson was as aggressive as I've ever seen him for 40 minutes. Kudos Shop
3 The team defense is as you said. They are REAL fun to watch when they defend like that. Not coincidentally, I think we can play with anyone when we do it.
4. The passion for offensive rebounds was crucial. That's effort.
5. This team can be as good as they want to be.

UGA has 3 legit NBA prospects, two first rounders next year (Leslie/Thompkins), no depth and a fourth player that is decent. I watched them play Notre Dame yesterday and none of their players stepped up and wanted the ball at the end of the game. Although they passed the ball well and did not turn it over at the end, they just could not hit a shot to save their life. Gerald Robinson is extremely talented offensively, very quick, physical and can shoot well. He will be a great addition to their team. Their lack of depth is noticeable and their white power forward is horrible. He is a liability to get stripped every time he moves with the b-ball. We will match up with them very well if B. Williams can only hold his own against Thompkins.

Harris had critical defensive boards towards the end of the game. I called Hall's name at some points in the game when fields starting playing undisciplined and out of contol. Glad we pulled out a V. Congrats vols.

Congrats to the team for a hard fought victory. Defense wins championships. If they can get that inside offensive game going, still struggling, they will be tough in the tourney. Plenty of time, no hurry.

My only negative of this game is the fact that Fields is terrible. He should not see the floor the way he plays.
