Mine's about half way through. Basting now with butter and apple juice every two hours.

I think you plug it in and push a button or turn a dial.

I tried turning the dials once, .... but ONLY once

It does not turn up the heat

I used some apple,cherry and just a small amount of hickory. About a hand full of the mix

I like mixing fruit woods as well. We have people coming over and I'm never sure of who likes smoke and who doesn't. I decided to let the lump give it a touch.

I removed the breast whole and then sliced. Much better way of doing it.

the turkey was a huge hit this Thanksgiving,either that or everybody was just being nice lol but the brine did knock it out of the park ,it was nice and juicy with out any basting while it was cooking

i did us a combination of cherry and apple chips to smoke it

I'm surprised there wasn't a turkey shortage this year. A lot of turkey's been hanging out on Volnation. 😅
