Ranking the 16 greatest quarterbacks in NFL history | FOX Sports
Despite his lack of success in the post season, Manning comes in third on this list only Montana, and Brady are ranked higher, and it's because thier teams won more Super Bowls than Manning's teams.
The Colts have more talent on defense than when Manning played with them. But, they still won't get to the SB without Manning.
Sorry to change the direction of the thread, but had to get the Reggie White plug in there. That said, I hope Manning has 3 more years in him, wins the next 3 Super Bowls while laying at least 75 more TD's on top of his record, and is forever talked about as the Michael Jordan of football.
I actually believe Kubiak's system can help him get there. Lean more on the run game and reduce the number throws Manning has to make throughout the year. Ware and Miller could be pretty fun to watch in that 3-4 as well.
Manning passed his physical, but I don't know that he has 3 years left in him. He certainly needs to have more success in the playoffs and win a SB to cement his legacy as one of the greatest ever to play QB.
I think he gets it done next season if he can stay healthy.
You really think Mannng has two more seasons in him? I don't see it. I will be shocked if Denver makes it to the AFC title game. Of course if they do it will likely be against NE at NE and we all know what that means. Peyton is a top 5 QB of all time but I think #3 is the highest he can get. Which BTW is nothing to be ashamed of.
I am confused.....was Reggie White a quarterback??? I thought he was a defensive lineman....He is the greatest of all time....
Nothing to be confused about. Reggie is the greatest defensive lineman of all time while Peyton is the greatest football player of all time. So wonderful they both happened to play at UT.
