The great OL debate....what would be your starting 5?

Who should be starting 5 OL

Kendrick, Robertson, Wiseman, Jones, Hall.

It has to be these 5 to be successful.

At least until Coleman gets healthy. He can play. The ankle injury is just much more troublesome than we know.

Jones and Hall can handle the right side.

Weisman can handle center.

We need to work harder on the left side...not sure of the best twosome over there.

with Hall coming back even if he does not start I think he will give the OL more stability and confidence..we need our 3rd string qb jumping around like crazy all game also..that was amazing in the VT game...way to show heart...GO VOLS :clapping::yahoo::rock:

my wife has a video from the Ohio game. Sherion and about 10 other players were jumping around like crazy on the sideline the whole game pretty much.

It was talked about before the season started that Jack Jones could supposedly play any position other than left tackle.

That makes me wonder how he would do at right tackle?

And if he could do a competent job over there, why not try Hall on the left side?

And if Jones and Hall are manning the tackle spots, I wonder if Richmond could slide inside to one of the guard spots?

Keep Weisman at center.

Bench Robertson and Thomas for poor performance in 1st three games. Deliver the message that crap is not tolerated, we can put 150 lb frat boys on the OL to NOT perform.

My starting 5 against the gators left to right:

Kendrick, Boulware, Weisman, Jones, Hall

*sorry hate spell check on the phone, spell checked the spell checker

Depends on what we plan to do, run or pass, or do both. Best run line or best pass line, or best for both run or pass.

I doubt we ever see Jones at tackle

I'd take any of those line-ups if they were coached by Sam Pittman. I bet he'd have them all ready to give their all for Tennessee.

Moe, Larry, Curly, Shemp, and Curly Joe. At least they would be entertaining.

These guys are all dead. And though in many instances this season our line's movements have resembled the dead, I dare say they make more voluntary movements than the 5 you listed.

However, we do need to warn the OL group the next one who does not fall down after dying will lose his scholarship.

any choice with Richmond is not the answer.

If that's the case, it's a serious indictment of this staff. I can think of 3 SEC teams that have recently started a 5 star true freshman from pretty much day 1 and had good to great success with him. Drew was not only a 5 star, he was given a full year to develop and learn the offense, he wasn't thrown into the fire immediately. First we get nothing out of Blair and now if Richmond can't play and develop into a top notch SEC LT??? Not good and somebody(s) need to be held accountable.

Don't care who's in the lineup as long as we put up 250 + rush yards on fla. Man up and get it done.
