How could people have been surprised about Baggett leaving? It was discussed by several on here before it happened.

I get the same feeling. Like maybe Baggett told DD that he was good for a couple of years on the front end.

Was JayG given any title?(I.e. running game coordinator). I figured that would have been the only way he could get out of the contract at USCe without penalty.

I was under the impression that Baggett left because he didn't want to put much effort in to recruiting and Dooley told him to count the cost, so he retired.
I thought he did a good job as the receivers coach.
I don't get the impression that this was in the plans long ago, I believe that Baggett retired spontaneoulsly.

Rudy,
Coach was leaning towards retiring during the season when he felt like the hours were not what he wanted for himself and his family. God bless him and may he enjoy the benefits of lots of good work!

Basillio got it right and first. You gonna give him credit?
Wait, what are you including in the "right" category? That he got the fact right about Baggett retiring, or that his whole sensationalized rant was right?

I'll credit him with the Baggett retiring fact, but nothing more until (or if) more comes out.

Absolute complete and utter garbage.

There is no way to PM people on here any more.

It is frustrating, but it is also okay. Lawvol can keep saying the earth is flat and those who choose to believe him can do so.

I have not posted anything on this site that is not true. My basketball predictions were off sometimes.

Every single media organization called it a mutual parting of ways. Baggett himself called it a mutual parting of ways. Tennessee will pay Baggett his buyout, as if he was fired. Everyone, except you, has said this was not simply a "retirement." There's also talk that Baggett is already looking at other jobs. So, yes, you don't have the faintest clue what you're talking about. You're making it up just like you do everything else you post on here.

I never knew you thought the earth was flat. Just when you think you know someone.

I know it didn't take long to get Graham's bio officially on the UT Sports website which seems to indicate something was in the works before Friday. JMO.

With this hire...it comes to mind that CDD keeps the info in house until its time....all other is just BS

Saying your "predictions were off sometimes" is like saying Nickelback writes "some" bad songs.

How's your boy doing these days? Any closer to getting that Clemson job?

Sometimes? You ran away for a while so that you wouldn't be ridiculed.

MHF - A VolNation tradition. You guys and your salty language have corrupted the youth of America. Not to fear, because MHF will not stop until everyone is saying stuff like "fudge", "darn", and "horse hockey".

Even if PM's were working, they are useless with you. I PM'd you many times, & never got a response. No wonder so many folks on here despise you.
