Your first statement makes my point. They're overrated because they aren't the end all.

Of course I'd take Duke's roster. I don't recall Duke recruiting Kenny Hall, Cameron Tatum, or Renaldo Woolridge though, so it doesn't seem relevant. Duke recruits talent, not stars and rankings.

I never said they were the end all but I feel teams need to stay well inside the top 100 to be a consistently good team.....something duke does.....I don't remember them recruiting Davis, darius, coffer, Austin, or any other players Zo has except Hubbs......where was he rated again?

Chris I predicted 20 wins his first year before the season started. Counting the Nit win we had 20 wins Martins first year.

Not sure what your point is, but in any case, I count 19 wins. Same as Pearl's final year.

My question is, if Pearl only won 19 games his final season, Harris (a 1st rd pick) and Hopson both left early, Goins and Williams graduated, and we returned one starter and six scholarship players, what gave you the idea that we would win 20 games? All the SEC coaches and media sure disagreed with you given we were predicted to finish 11th in the conference. I'd say your "prediction" was rooted in hope and not in rationality. But agree to disagree.

Are u slow, u compared past players to duke and I just used the same comparison to Zo's players. I do feel since the top 100 is a complete starting five for 20 teams that we should be able to get 2 top 100 a yr and preferably top 60.

I believe you brought up Duke, so use your best judgement on which one of us is the slow one.

In any case, sure it would be nice to recruit on that level, but a good coach can still be competitive without doing it. Jury is out on whether or not Cuonzo can do that, but given that he has consistently recruited well outside the top-60, I'd say inevitably, we'll know soon enough.
