Sock will fix that.

delilah will too

on a side note, was back in NWA last friday...flew in Thursday night from San Fran, and was going to grab a drink at Eddie Haskall's after checking into the hotel and was told thay shut down,,,

was surprised because it was really the only decent bar in Rogers, Bentonville

Met Ben Crenshaw today. He was very nice.

And a short man, and I'm not tall. I was at Starbucks in Destin and he walked up behind me. I asked him to sign my hat. That is the only autograph I have ever asked for in my life. I even apologized and told him. He had played the CC hat I had on from a Nashville course and asked about it.

79 today. Fixed my crazy problems from a couple of weeks ago. Feels good to be back. A simple grip adjustment and my swing hasn't felt so smooth. My right hand was too weak. That was it.

Seriously golfers, if any of you are travelling through town and have your sticks in your car, hit me up. I plan on playing 2-3 times a week this year and the guys I play with play once a week then on the weekends, which i don't play. I just joined a pretty tough course and would be happy to see what kind of game some VNers have.

Yeah he was short.

New Callaway Razr's came in yesterday. Pick them up this morning. Will hit them after work today. There is no better feeling than hitting pristine, never-hit-clubs.

I looked at some yesterday & they look better in person. I did pick up a dozen of the Callaway hex black balls. I've had the razr fit driver almost 2 weeks & the stock shaft isn't gonna cut it. Gonna ride over to Edwinn Watts this weekend & get on the launch monitor & hit some different shafts.

Yeah...to get the right shaft requires some effort. It's amazing to me that with all the technology, people still buy off the rack. Not looking at spin rate and launch angle is a mistake. Most golf retailers now have that equipment. It makes a huge difference.

Not everywhere has a launch monitor. Sometimes you can only hit a few balls on the range with it. The shaft in it is ok I just feel like I could get more out of the club with another shaft.

Shaft with the right tip and kickpoint makes all the difference. Golf Headquarters, here in Midland, has a machine that computes spin rate and launch angle. So, if nothing else, I feel confident that my clubs were fitted to my swing.

I'll hit you up to play...I'm coming through Nashville for a couple of days on my way to Destin...March 23rd through April 2nd...
So I'll be in Nashville/Clarksville a couple of days on each end

Padraig Harrington played out of his mind today. I'd say opening with a 61 is a pretty fair start.

Alright then. I'll be in town, except for the weekends. I usually try to play on a tuesday or wednesday aroun 10-11. Course is Westhaven CC in Franklin if you want to check it out.

brentwoodsurgical@gmail.com is my email

What's your handicap? If you are ok, we might be in a 4-8 man game, but we'll see.

Good deal. I hope you are a cool dude. I know I am.:)

in season, i'm about a 12, but considering this will probably be the first or seocond round of the year, it will be higher..typically we drive down to Nashville on Friday, visit mom and sister till Sunday, then drive to Destin, until the next Saturday, then back to Nashville for a day or two , then back to chicago...so mid week would be out, since i'll be in destin..

i'll still reach out, if timing changes

I like to drink beer, play golf, the tennessee vols, and have fun...so it would be a good round

Let me know if it changes. I got chicago, las vegas, then spring break the next 4 weekends. We are trying this Beach Club place outside of mobile. Got it at the last second, but looks ok. We'll see.

I never play on weekends anyway. Kids always have stuff going on.

you picked the right weekend for Chicago...St paddy's day party where they die the river grreen, and it's been sunny and in the 70's the lasy 2 days

Absolutely, 61 anywhere is outstanding, but to do it on the Copperhead course at Innisbrook is a career round of golf, I've played the Copperhead course twice, the Island course twice (which I thought was just as challenging) and the South course once and even a touring pro carding a 61 on the Copperhead is mind blowing to me, I just can't imagine anyone having that kind of day there. Major props to Padraig.
