Another point of view is that the guy rated #2 can only be underrated if he should be rated #1, which he shouldn't.

The same thing sort of happened when Jim Furyk moved up to #2. Even though he's got a major, I'd bet the average fan would have run through about 6 or 7 players before guessing he was #2.

i'd say everybody would just assume Tiger is #1 and Phil is #2.

An even better question . . . Who the heck is Martin Kaymer? He's up to #6 in the world.

i only know because i usually watch the Euro PGA events on Saturday and Sunday mornings. he won one of the Dubai or S. Africa events a few weeks back. beat McIlroy and Westwood i believe. didn't realize he was #6 though.

i'm a big proponent of watching sports when sports aren't supposed to be on.

Sweet swing. That thing looks more jacked up than Jack Lemon. Goofy grip and head up early with near reverse pivot.

He has heat, big cut and otherworldly putter when it's rolling.
