ohhh, no. she picked up my clubs when i had the grips put on them this past weekend.

she wont allow new irons until after the first of the year. :ermm:

she's been outta work for two months because of a surgery, when she goes back next week and starts bringin' home those big bucks, i'll talk her into it.

Going to play this afternoon after school. I don't think there could be better weather out there right now. Really looking forward to hitting some cars on Walnut Grove.

played lost creek this morning.

the roughs were terrible. i shot okay, but had to pitch back into the fairway a couple of times because the landscaping sucks(and i'm terrible off the tee). gonna try to play friday morning at pine lakes before work.

Yeah, we kind of got misled on the greens being in poor-fair shape. They did have the presence of mind to put the cups where the best parts of the green were. At least that made the grass for second putts (or in hohens' case third and fourth putts) reasonably consistent.

I thought the fairways by and large were fine. Some of the rough, once you got more than about ten yards off the fairway, was a bit unkempt.

Not Augusta, but a decent municipal type track.

First, yes it can.

Second, you didn't play all that badly IMO. Hohen can hit the ball a pretty good distance off the tee. But he is not fond out of hitting his second off the short stuff, for whatever reason.

I'd like to play again, too. See if we can round up Fine Vol next time. I have a feeling that, no matter how badly we might play, if he is with us it will feel like we are ready for Q-school.

We scooted around there in about 3:40 and that was taking our time. Would have been more like 3:15 if we hadn't spent all that time looking for hohens' errant shots. Being able to take the next shot without a ton of delay helps my score. I'm sure you are the same way.

went to the range this morning.

still intimidated by the driver, as usual. i'm gonna play pine lakes in the morning. we were gonna go to bear trace on wednesday, but one of the fellas backed out because of money, so i'm guessing we're going somewhere local.

i hear that. no different than my younger brother losing 12 of my golfballs three days ago. but at the turn when i've only got one ball left i hear "dude, i dont have the money right now. wait until we get back to town and i'll go to the atm".
