I prefer mine sitting up on some fluffy florida gulf coast bermuda. This time of year here, I almost prefer the rough. I'm not good enough to have to hit each shot square every time and the lies right now leave no room for error for me.

Winter rules. Seriously though I'm not saying I like hardpan but I'd prefer a tight, spongy lie rather than the ball sitting up a lot. I use to practice at the church across from my old home in a huge field. One side was tree lined & had huge blankets of moss that grew from all the shade. It was a really tight lie but it wasn't hard. Most courses around here have Bermuda & only a couple overseed so about the only thing not dormant is the greens.

My handicap started at a 9 this year and currently I am at a 3.5. Shot a 67 on Saturday so it will be even lower. Problem is I don't feel like I am good enough to warrant that handicap, but I have been on fire.

First two rounds I have ever shot in 60s were this year. Pretty awesome.

Below 70 is nasty. I don't think there is a player at our course breaking par.

Considering the studs we have in this thread I think we should challenge other team's message boards. We would dominate with some of the low scores posted up in here. Who's in?

My score varies from 75-95. I probably can't drive it with bama but I'm not a short knocker.

I'll play golf with anyone, anywhere. I could be on, or I could be off. It's one or the other for me. It's fun though. Nothing more fun than a little money game where its coming down to 18 and someone is about to choke and someone is about to throw a dagger. Shot a 79 yesterday after an 89 the day before.

Got it in at a 7-over 79 today. Certainly not my best, but the beer was cold and good and I'm just happy to be able to play in my home state in the month of December.
