Based on the offset, can't do the offset
So you're clubs have no offset? Also offset doesn't necessarily mean a better player will hook the ball. Progressive offset, where the longer clubs have more, is used to hit the ball higher. Where you get into really hooking the ball is with the heel weighted clubs combined with offset. With the cavity back on the big berthas if you're hooking or slicing to any huge degree you should get your swing checked. I like them because you don't have to hit them dead center every time to get a good result.
In my bag - Taylor made R7 TP irons, minimal offset. I have a natural draw swing, these help reduce the draw somewhat. For me, my swing, using offset irons results in a hook. I don't need my swing checked because I found an iron that suits my swing flaw if you will.
So you never hit a big Bertha iron? My shot is a little right to left too & my miss is generally a hook or a straight push. When I miss with a hook using my offset big berthas it's definitely no worse than my minimal offset muscle backs. I can rig my razr fit driver up as open as it can go with the weights set at a fade bias & still hook the piss out of it. I can go to the opposite extreme & fade it. No matter what the club I just don't believe you can make a solid swing with a square face & get an extreme amount of curvature.
haven't gotten it yet, but here's a picture...He wasn't able to mail due to traveling for a family members medical emergency...
Can't wait to see it in person..
