Not everybody. 'Just metro-sexuals who're uber-finicky about fashion nuances. Most of us are more interested in how those fashion icons are coordinating on the playing field, and not how their trousers bonnets and blouses are coordinated. :birgits_giggle: Geeeeeeeesh! Why does having alternate uniforms that we wear literally about once a year stir up so much hate?
Now that's old school right there. It was a little before my time when this was the norm but I has seen old film clips of this. It's my understanding that white road jerseys came about primarily to better distinguish between the teams for television coverage.
smokey greys are awesome.
have u guys not paid attention to the rest of theworld in the past 30 years? Alt unis bring recruits and they are almost always an ALTERNATE color from base.. kinda the point of the word alternate. Oregon started it and we are stuck there. I could understand if they were like lets have a blue alt jersey but grey as an alternate makes perfect sense for UT. Smokey mountains. and they look good. so let it be. It's a once or twice a year thing.
it sells games it sells DLC (downloadable content) it sells recruits.. stop complaining and grow up.
And while we are at it pass a rule that everyone has to sit and never stand. And everyone has to be quiet when the band is playing - no singing, not even with Rocky Top.
Neyland is tame with the piped in music compared to Vandy and Kentucky and at NFL games.
I'm down with the black and orange stripe look :good!:As for the topic at hand I say if we play at home the week of halloween then we should wear a black uni, grey number with an orange highlight around the numbers. Pants would be black with orange stripes and a flat black
helmet with a metallic orange T.
