you realize I responded to an image stating that the ID must be presented ALONG with the vaccine papers.
Yes. That was part of my point.
Interestingly, the person making that claim of hypocrisy
gave us both actions that supposedly created the hypocritical contradictions, so that we can better judge if it was actually hypocritical. You are yet to do so.
Its not something I made up.
OK. I don't think I ever claimed you made it up. I claimed it may be a false equivalency, short of more proof.
I made a general comment that holds water,
I think I've affirmed that it may. You haven't shown that it does. As a matter of fact, you seem to indicate that showing that it does is "ridiculous"--too much to ask.
you asked for specifics raising the standard to the ridiculous,
I'm not trying to be an a**, but how is it ridiculous to ask to see what's being compared in a criticism via comparison? You're claiming hypocrisy, which is a comparison of two things, yet it's ridiculous to ask to see the things in order to judge the criticism?
or at least beyond what I stated.
How so? Was it a claim of hypocrisy, which is a claim of internal contradictions?
people were complaining about far more than the vaccine requirements.
OK.
there was also complaints about churches being shut down,
OK. Doesn't seem pertinent to the claim of hypocrisy at hand.
OK. Doesn't seem pertinent to the claim of hypocrisy at hand.
IDs, masks, social distancing.
OK. OK. OK. Doesn't seem pertinent to the claim of hypocrisy at hand.
kinda laughable to suggest people were only complaining about the vaccine requirement.
Can you show where I made that claim? I made the claim that my recollection was that
within the "ID complaint" context you mentioned, it was more about the vaccine requirement than merely having to show ID. I think we'd need to see the complaints you reference to see if they are contradictory to the idea "By God people should have to prove who they are to vote."
Again, if the context of criticism was "By God, people shouldn't be forced to accept injections to just live their lives normally", I can't find a contradiction. If you can show analogous complaints that would be actually contradictory, I think we can both agree on the supposed hypocrisy.
(Don't feel pressured to answer. It's not a big deal. Not trying to drag you into a pissing match by any stretch. You may very well be correct. I just don't see hypocrisy in that context without more proof.)
