and you think making it a state level issue is going to clean up this type of action? I am willing to bet that most of the large cities/counties already have some sort of parallel admin to run their city/county, separate from the states actions.

What a brilliant idea for a small island state whose only real revenue source is tourism! Don't just implement a tourism tax. Make it a tax will infuriate about half of the population irrespective of the monetary aspect of it.

Call the cops and tell them that those people are attempting suicide and have them arrested. Suicide is still illegal. Or, just run over them without slowing down and say that you didn't see them. They are where they don't belong. Put the blame on them.

We would be classified as "middle class" Americans, probably on the lower end of that designation. I am a Superintendent and my wife is a realtor. We dont have a big house or drive flashy cars. We chose to always make our kids and their education our 1st priority, and that has been successful so far at least. Almost done now hopefully.

My kids are 23 and 16, my wife and kids have never had health insurance in their lives. I have free bluecross medical on just myself paid for by my employer. None of the 4 of us has ever had dental insurance, in our entire lives. None. We have to pay for every checkup, every emergency, every teeth cleaning or other dental work etc out of pocket. It is quite expensive when needed, so we actually take care of our bodies and brush our teeth 2 or 3 times a day. Imagine that. Being responsible human beings. When YOU have to actually earn and then PAY for everything yourself...letting your teeth rot out, or becoming obese and dealing with all the medical problems from it simply don't happen. The same way that people take care of tools or vehicles which they paid for...but don't when somebody else paid for them.

Imagine that. Actual consequences to ones actions causing responsible behavior?!? Who would have guessed.

The Leftist/Socialist/Democrats bullcrap idea that EVERYONE is entitled to have free medical...dental...and free groceries if they want them is BS. Nobody is ENTITLED to that. Nobody deserves to get handed those things when its paid for with MY MONEY taken out of MY CHECK before i get it. Without my consent. People who sell drugs or sit on their azzes all day living off the State (my taxes) dont deserve a damn thing. Much less deserve to have health insurance and dental insurance that hardworking people like my family cant afford. Paid for by me. Notice that the Socialists ALWAYS want to give away OTHER peoples hard earned money. They never line up to PAY for handouts to their ilk themselves. Hell no. They vote for everyone ELSE who actually works for a living to have their income stolen and redistributed by their god....the Government.

No able bodied human being in this country is entitled to medical, dental, free food, free rent, nor anything else at MY expense. None. Yet here we are. Socialism at its finest. Brought to you by the same people who Vehemently oppose Voter ID laws at every turn. Who always vote for the Leftist candidate that will enable the lazy folks unwilling to work. Its insulting to be forced to pay for other sorry azz peoples kids to have insurance that I cannot afford for my own family. Much the same way its infuriating to see someone on food stamps with a grocery cart completely full of expensive steaks, $10 frozen foods etc check out in front of us while we make responsible choices in order to stay within a BUDGET. Watch them whip out that Red, White, and Blue card and pay for $150 worth of filet mignon. At taxpayers expense. My expense.

I mentioned a word that might be foreign to the Socialists on here. Budget. I know it sounds funny. A budget is a yearly/monthly/weekly financial plan that keeps folks out of debt and out of trouble. It means you dont spend more than you make...don't buy things you cannot afford...and don't live beyond your means. Thats living on a budget. Everyone should do so. I don't think Democrats have any idea how to do so. Not sure Republicans do anymore either. I have ZERO credit card debt. None. We only have 1 car payment. My vehicle and my daughters vehicle are both paid for. I maintain all 3 vehicles myself. Its part of our BUDGET.

We have to quit giving handouts to able
bodied people. We have to quit electing politicians that spend more money every year than revenue taken in from taxes. We need to get rid of all this Socialism, most of the current entitlements, and career politicians. We need term limits, voter ID laws, and a balanced budget every year. We have to do better. I will get down from my raggedy soapbox now 😆
