The future is NOW

Bama will beat us 70 to something, no matter who starts. HB could be the difference in 70-28, and 70-14 or worse. It will be the biggest blowout win by a Bama team, over UT, in the history of them playing. I can't even call it a rivalry, at this point. I wouldn't blame Bama if they dropped us from the schedule, and picked up ANYONE else, to increase their Strength of Schedule.
Good post. LOL. Why would Bama want to drop besides what you said about SOS. It's a automatic win for them and Saban can give his non-starters some experience for a half a game.

What you see at Tennessee is what you get in the future, look back at the last 2 decades and you’ll see Tennessee teams that were mediocre at best......
I’m not convinced anything will change in the next 2 decades, I don’t see any reason things will change, do you?

The worst six quarters of UT football In long while.
Agreed. The Kentucky debacle was so embarrassing that I avoided any recap show this weekend. And BTW, firing the d line coach ain't gonna get it--it isn't his fault the Vols could only score 7 on a mediocre team.

How the QB coach gets to survive is beyond me.

I am not, and have never been convinced that rebuilding a program takes more than 3 years for a really good coach with a vision for winning at the highest levels. I dont care how bad the program was you inherited. Pruitt has been around more high quality coaching that Butch ever was. He should know what to do, but being a DC isnt the same thing as being the head man.

Don't care which of the 3 to be honest as long as it is the one Chaney has the most confidence in.

Im scared that by keeping JG in, regardless how poorly he performs, he's teaching the rest of the team that poor on field performance is tolerated. Just show up at practice, look good during the reps, and you keep your starting spot for 5 years. Take plays off? No biggie.
